Future Planing

The future plans of Comilla district under the Department of Women Affairs include: 


(1) To bring the poor and helpless women of the grassroots level under the social safety net.


(2) Implementation of the National Action Plan-2013 formulated in the light of National Women Development Policy-2011


(3) Formulation and implementation of action plan to prevent child marriage


(4) To create opportunities for marginalized women to participate in all fields,


(5) To take effective steps to prevent violence against women and children


(6) Making women self-reliant through vocational and technical training

(7) Creation of data base of all assigned services under the Directorate of Women Affairs, 

(8) Providing assistance to transform officers and employees into skilled human resources through training at home and abroad as per the direction of the Directorate.

(9) Modernization of office management.

(10) Improving the quality of office services.

11) To turn the youth into skilled human resources through training through Adolescent Placement Project and APC Project.
