1. Implementation of the National Policy for Women's Development.


2. Ensure women's rights in all spheres.


3. To prevent violence against women by taking effective steps to prevent violence against women.


4. Implementation of Vulnerable Women Benefit (VWB) program. (Formerly VGD).


5. To ensure the payment of allowance to poor pregnant mothers for three years through the implementation of the Mother and Child Assistance Program (this name has been given by merging the Poor Pregnant Mothers Allowance and Lactating Mothers Program).


6. Implementation of microcredit program for self-employment of women.


7. Awareness raising activities to protect women's rights.


8. Coordination and monitoring of activities with different district level departments related to women development.


9. To provide skill based training to women in 05 trades for livelihood.


The 10. Celebration of various days (International Women's Day, National Girl Child Day, Begum Rokeya Day, International Day for the Prevention of Violence against Women, Child Marriage Prevention Day, etc.)
